Mountain of the Lord, Alaska

This painting was originally painted as a gift for the artist's sister. However, years later, the building will be torn down to make room for a new temple. With so many precious memories in this sacred edifice, the painting has taken on new meaning. The commanding presence of the architecture is enhanced by the color of light.
