To the young and young at heart:
Each year the City of Tualatin celebrates children with the Blender Dash, an obstacle course race that includes color, foam, mud, obstacles, and zombies! As a JustServe Specialist, I have attended the event each year with a JustServe booth to invite members of the community, including youth and children, to volunteer. During the event, all ages stop by our booth to learn how to volunteer with JustServe.org. One of the fun activities we offer at our booth is a Fishing wall with prizes for kids. Of course I had to use my own fabric design! I sewed a Fishing wall from "Aquarium" printed from Spoonflower.
With over 1,000 children participating at this event, there were a lot of kids fishing at the booth. I love that many kids were highly interested in how the prize got on their fishing pole. Ah, their wonderful imaginations!!
Below are some photos of the fabric fishing wall in action...

Tired but full of fun memories,
Janet
